No video poker on the floor and only a handfull of VP machines at two of the bars. The interior here has very high ceilings and the whole place was way too brightly lit for a casino. We understand that things change with time, but we like the older style of casinos.

Lets just say we were disappointed with our experience at the HS Lake Charles, especially when compared to HS Bossier.

We have been eagerly awaiting the opening of the Horseshoe in Lake Charles, Louisiana in the hopes that it would be similar, with a much shorter drive time. My wife and I are big fans of the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana we travel 3 hours, one way, from our home to visit that property.
